to celebrate all the growing things that are not tulips or daffodils

Lenton Rose, or Helebore. I moved this one a few years ago,
because it was being crowded by a big clump of soloman's seal.
It sulked for a long time.
But now it's back better than ever.

I planted this helebore last year.
It must be happy, because it is already blooming this year.

The flowers last for months.

Three colours of forget-me-nots - blue, white and pink - in my garden,
and the bees go mad for all of them.
The forget-me nots reseed all over the place.  After they bloom, I pull them out,
and the seeds stick to my clothes and drop off where I least expect them to -
and then they bloom the following year.  Super low maintenance, and so pretty.
These hyacinths are a few years old, and are growing sparcer, but still as fragrant as ever.
I kinda like the minimalilst look.
